We have a dedicated operating theatre, preparation area separate from this for unsterile procedures and always use the latest and safest anaesthetics available. We have multiple sterile kits for our surgeries and are firm believers in always 
giving pain relief; after all, it’s what we would want ourselves after an operation! Seen on the right is a monitoring device; a machine which constantly tells us the heart rate, breathing rate and amount of oxygen present in all our anaesthetised animals. Added to this, there is a nurse and vet in constant attendance at all our surgeries, carefully monitoring your pet.
To the left is seen our in house blood
monitoring equipment, allowing quick results on the same day as surgery or in a critically ill patient. In the laboratory area is also a microscope to enable us to look on the same day as seeing your pet at ear smears or smears from infections or masses.

Our in-house blood machine can monitor red blood cells, white blood cells, electrolytes and many vital enzymes and waste products, giving us information about wide ranging diseases such as diabetes, pancreatitis, kidney disease and liver disease. We also have a microscope to look at all sorts of microscopic parasites and bacteria and we can also monitor intestinal wormer efficiency by measuring worm egg counts. Upstairs is a huge repository of knowledge; many veterinary books to aid and bolster our pre-existing knowledge.

We have 2 fully equipped consult rooms, so are never short for space. The clinic carries an extensive range of Advance food and Hills Science diet; for every life stage and prescription diets to aid in the management of many diseases. We also carry extensive ranges of parasite control and can offer professional advice on which would be the best for your pet. Check out the cool pet accessories and toys as well!

We have extensive boarding facilities, both for day surgery patients, in hospital patients and for boarding cats. Especially for cats with medical problems, this offers a vets-hands-on monitoring service for when you go on holiday, saving you a lot of worry. We can even cater for multiple cat households, offering a huge glass walled kitty heaven (check it out behind the reception desk).
Puppy school is a fantastic, essential idea to invest in your dog’s future and we offer a very cool puppy school at Beach Road, run by a professional dog trainer and behaviourist, Diane Oakley.
