“In Feb 2010 my 9 y.o M Rottweiler Kwame was taken to Paws Galore Beach Road Vets with lameness and a lump on his shoulder joint. In short, Kwame had Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and thanks to the quick actions and outstanding care and support from the staff he has been able to recover from the ordeal of surgery and the recovery which followed. Kwame is now a healthy TriPaw Rottweiler who still enjoys doing mostly everything he used to do.
I could easily write a few thousand words about how the Staff went the extra distance for me and Kwame during this time, but I think the following best explains.
In the past 12 months, Kwame has been at the Paws Galore Beach Road Vets while his friend Khalla was euthanised, he was put under for X-Rays+Bone Biopsies, had his front leg amputated, follow up Surgery and Chemotherapy and numerous other tests and injections. Despite this, he is still very happy to go to the Vets, and greets the Staff with excitment and licks of affection.
I should also mention how great the Staff was when Khalla was euthanised in May '09. It was after seeing the level of care and genuine support during that time which made me comfortable with treating Kwame's cancer at the Paws Galore Beach Road Vet.”
